Line Sower

Sowing seeds in fresh land is easier and we have lot of device for the same. But for mulching and land cover purpose, sowing is difficult by going inside the existing crops. To minimise the difficulties and man power, I have designed a sower sowing seeds in a straight line and powered by 2 people.

Sower resembles olden days plough, but it is miniature version made of steel. One person has to pull the Sower (pulling is not harder, it is similar to normal walking speed), another person has to control the flow of seeds.

Speed or Area of sowing will be equal to time taken walk around your field.
I have been using it for mulching in Sugar-cane and it is every effective.

Flange cum Air Releaser

In Rain Gun or Sprinkler system it is important to release air else will lead to choking of water line. For each outlet it is mandatory to have air releaser. To have air releaser in the outlet, we need to assemble Tee-coupler, Bend, Coupling and then Air Releaser. This method has more number of components and thus increases cost, time of fitting and later maintenance.
To overcome all this pain, designed a Flange attached with a coupling, so that Air releaser can be mounted on it. It save cost and time to assemble fittings.

Quick Coupler

Rain Gun irrigation is very good but I faced a common problem,
How to easily connect and disconnect Rain Gun from the Outlet point ?
Because commonly “flange” is used but it is time consuming, tedious, adds weight to Rain Gun.
Inspired by Sprinkler irrigation system which I have used in 1990’s, created a Aluminum based coupler which makes things easier.

Highlights are,

• Female coupler is attached to each outlet point instead of Flange
• Male coupler is attached to Rain Gun
• Female coupler has Rubber lining to prevent leak
• Just pushing male coupler into female coupler will lock the unit by a hook
• Releasing hook, unit can be disconnected
• Door locks can be used to lock the whole unit, thus making it secure

Ultimately it is

• Faster
• Easier
• Weightless
• Corrosion free
• Leak proof

Multi-Purpose Thrasher

In my young days, I have seen Paddy Thrasher as machine which needs operated in certain way and involves manual labour after thrashing. With my friend who owns a workshop we have designed a new model which works faster and no post-processing required after thrashing.

Advantages are,

• Faster
• Can be used for Paddy, Corn, Peas, Ragi, Maize and similar grain varieties
• Powered by Tractor PTO shaft, so no separate engine required for running

 

China Trip

China is a place where everything is planned for Future and implemented perfectly.
Place where Bulk purchase makes it Cheaper.
One week China trip is a memorable. I have been in China for _______ Industrial Exhibition on _______.
Small power tiller for various agricultural purposes like weeding, harvesting, bundling and various types of Sprayers attracted me. These small devices can help us a lot. Apart from agricultural equipments other machinery are available.
Finally after the visit, I was reminded of an old quote,

“You name it, They give it”

Looking at their roads and building, we can guess how China will be in Future, as they have planned and built their infrastructure that will accommodate next 25 years growth

Valve Controller

Technology is improving day by day, So as the human beings.
Equipments, Devices, Electronic Chips shrinks. So as we human beings become Slim and Trim (sometimes lean and fragile too ...).

We have seen the invention of Motor and automatic on/off, Irrigation by drip and sprinkler,
But can we integrate or combine all these into ONE BOX and control the irrigation by automatic valves, schedule it ?.
Yes possible by "MV Valve Controller"

Functions of MV Valve Controller are,

1. Turn on/off Motor by Real time clock
2. Real time clock can be scheduled for a week time
3. Open/Close the irrigation valve
4. 12 different output controls for valves
5. Each output control can control one or more irrigation valve
6. Valve control is based on Relative time
7. 12 output control can be scheduled in cycles
8. 12 output controls can be scheduled Sequentially or Parallely

Power Tiller

In earlier days Power Tiller is a handy economical device, a substitute of tractor for small farmers for preparing their land for new plantation.

Now things have changed and Power Tiller is used for various purposes like,

1. Land Preparation
2. Weeding (varying breadth - 1", 1.5", 2")
3. Reaping (say Paddy)
4. Harvesting (say Turmeric)
